Description: The Michaels are from DAZ3D, the Utopia Deck C is by Stonemason and the AH-9100 by Phillip Drawbridge. All purchased from DAZ3D. The scene is lit by radials placed where visible light sources are. The backdrop and the ambient light come from my Tourbillion Room HDRI.

I'd like to point out that David and I have finally had our mentoring DVD released. You can look at that here, should you so desire, http://www.daz3d.com/i/shop/itemdetails/?item=13196 . For the money, you get a real piece of hardware containing 117 tutorials that last just 11 seconds short of 27 hours.

Very cool Horo, looks great and your HDRI in the background fits the scene perfectly.

Indeed, this is a well thought out scene, the effect and lighting is quite plausible. I've noticed before looking out of my kitchen in the evening how dark yet blue the sky can appear when the lights are on. Horo has skill fully captured this effect.

My only quibble is that I feel that the shadows (on the far upper wall) are a little too soft, shrinking the scene in my view slightly in the same way that DOF does sometimes when it is set too high for the intended scale. At least that is the impression I have.

Hmm. Very interesting. I think everything here looks fantastic. I wish the backdrop had a little more sharpness for this shot. Otherwise no quibbles from me. The shadow softness that David observed seems fine to me at the moment.

Thank you for your comments. Backdrop sharpness is an issue of size and camera FOV. There are limits what Bryce accepts. Soft shadows are always difficult to get right. If the softness of the shadows the guy in the foreground casts and the shadow from the back wing in the foreground at left are good, then the very soft appearing one in the distance should be correct, all lights in the scene have it at the same value. But it does look a bit odd.
