Even Weirder Sisters...
Description: Another TA test. The blue colouration comes from the HDR image supplied by Horo.

As with the first image, much the same applies...

Bryce update 7.1.0.109 - available here http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=173120 had a nice and unexpected surprise. Vasily (I'm guessing) has tinkered with the scattering correction and reduced the noise considerably. This is very good news.

Like all TA renders this took - a while - for which mean hours rather than minutes to render.

Also, I'd like to point out that Horo and I have finally had our mentoring DVD released. You can look at that here, should you so desire, http://www.daz3d.com/i/shop/itemdetails/?item=13196 it is on sale at the moment. I will also try to badger DAZ into further sales at some point in the future. I understand also, that from any time soon, shipping costs will also be applied and those will not be lifted again.

Mac users continue to draw the short straw I'm sorry to report. Even with this new update, issues remain. Check the forum here for updates on this situation, http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=173785

The noise is still visible but it is much less offensive as it was up to 7.1.0.74. TA really improved.

Less noise, yes it is better, but in this case the walls show the weakness of TA, where uniform geometry is combined with plain materials it is hard to avoid unsightly noise without resorting to impractical render resolutions.
