From a technical perspective of rendering and pose and material, this is as good as the related scene, but from the perspective of being an artistic image, I'd suggests that there is too much space between the two pairs of figures to make this particularly visually pleasing. If the figures were moved together so that the dancers were almost interlocking, and the document aspect changed to something unusual like 1:1 then there might be more interesting things happening in the negative space. Still an excellent render, but it wouldn't be worth commenting if all I did was tell you how good you were.

Thanks David! I actually started out with a square ratio with the dancers in closer proximity just the way you describe. I should have stayed with that it seems. I got to thinking that the pose we see them in here is held only for a millisecond, before the ladies are dismounted from the shoulders of the guys. Having danced myself before (though I was never good enough to support another human being on my shoulder while standing on one leg even if only for a millisecond) I got to thinking that some amount of space between them might be necessary to avoid accidents. I am always caught up in those types of practical concerns.

No question, the image looked more interesting when they were closer, it actually looked a bit dangerous. next time I will go for the danger.

The file did not save in its final form, too many Elite level textures involved, and Bryce has those darned memory limitations.

Thanks again David!

No need to just echo David. Technically, a wonderful render. I'm not very happy with the light for the guy at right though I don't know where the spotlights are located.

I recommend that you use that Large Address Aware tool available for free. This would enable you save your scenes. And if you develop for brokering, the LAA service can be switched off and on with a mouse click. It is not permanent.

Thanks Horo. Yes, I need to do the LAA thing. Funny situation I am in currently. When I purchased the xeon system a few years ago Bryce was in every way a 32 bit application and had not been tested for stability on 64 bit systems. So even though the computer is a x86 system I went ahead and installed a 32 bit os windows xp with only 2gb of ram (to save money of course). About a year ago I decided to upgrade my memory to get 4 gb only to discover a few weeks ago that it never kicked in due to some problem with the motherboard, bad ports or something. So for a year now I have been wondering why I did not feel much difference. I plan to upgrade to windows 7 eventually and really wanted the ram. So long story short I am worried that with only 2gb of workable ram currently I cannot engage LAA. It has some issues with Nvidia cards. No LAA until I upgrade. I might send some stuff to you for testing so you can tell me how it works out.
