This is an excellent render. Great use of TA. It looks quite natural. Most of the noise is cleverly hidden. 5/5 from me.

Top marks, the lighting and the materials are excellent. If I were to quibble, I'd say there was something upsetting me about the scale. Looking at the height of the door handles and the size of the figures. If the occupants were to stand, it appears to me that the door handles would be uncomfortably low. But if the figures were smaller, the chair in the foreground and the books on the left, along with other features would appear too large for them. So that's only a minor point really, and as I said, the lighting is excellent and the material choices are spot on. A well earned 5/5

Wow. Where to begin. I love the sense of time of day you created. The purple sky actually helps translate the feeling of night time very well. I think the interior lighting is very good, as expected from you. In particular I am impressed with the indirect lighting.

I have some quibbles, but they are more to do with Bryce than with you. Well, I agree with David that there is a scaling violation, but forgivable.

The problems are...TA noise. As great as TA is if it cannot be less noisy it will always draw attention to itself. The only remedy is higher rpp which then causes long renders. Speeding up rendering and improving the math that handles the noise is essential. it would have been nice to apply soft shadows to all of the key light sources within the scen4e, but alas that too would extend render times far too long so I blame slow rendering.

You are an amazing Bryce artists bookenwuurm. Love everything you do!!!!!! Full marks, obviously.

lovely

I like the atsmosphere, the composition and the low camera. The warm feelings of the books is amazing.
Only one: the violet sky; I prefer some orange sunset or some silver moon light.

Thanks

Thank you all for the nice comments! I really appreciate it, and it motivates me to get an even better artist.

I think the size of the figures is due to the wide format used ans the big field of view used and the low camera placement. It is very extreme, but I thought it would help to make the scene looked less crammed. It was an experiment, and it need some work. Still, for now I'm happy with it.

The sky was turned purple to bring the nice lazy night mood which I thought worked the best with purple (and because I love the colour purple ^^ )

The TA noise is entirely my fault. I thought I could get away with 64 mrd. Render time was long enough, to nor tender again when the skin came out to grainy. Surprisingly the walls have a grainy texture, and wouldn't benefit from a higher mrd.
