My Living Room
Description: This might be my living room in an evening sun light.
The size of the picture is a bit small. It is rendered with Premium and TA 144 and I had not the patience for a 1600 x 1200 picture (which had needed 40 hours to render I am sure). The chairs and the vase are modelled with wings 3d. The rest is made in Bryce 7.1. The painting has been made by John William Waterhouse - a pre-raphaelite artist.

A bit empty - I like the floor (we call it "Schiffsboden") and that's the one I have in the room I'm sitting. Yours looks really similar to mine. I also like the light on the floor and wall. Nice picture on the wall. Ha! and the wall socket looks really familiar, very nice detail, I almost feel at home. There's quite some noise from the TA but it doesn't look wrong here (well, the ceiling has a bit much of it) but on the walls it looks about right for a plastered (verputzt) finish. The tree seems a bit near to the window. Well, I wouldn't have elaborated this much if I wouldn't like it. How about a club table?

Looks fine. Something is not quite right however, hard to put a finger on it.

First, so long as all your objects are "room temperature," you probably do not need any material level ambience at all when working with TA. Something about the walls looks like it has more than just TA acting upon it.

Ensure that sun/moon shadows are always at 100% intensity, by default they are 90% and this does cause problems for TA in terms of accuracy.

The tree outside clearly has ambience glowing in the leaves, again, with TA, no ambience should be needed for any textures cool enough to touch with bare hands.

I will look at the newer version for more clues.
