Dramatic certainly. Nice material and lighting choices. The lack of atmosphere brings the ringed plant very close, adding to the drama while making it looks a bit small. I might suggest tilting the camera back a bit to show more of the rings and less of the water? Good.

Very cool, I like the planet at upper right with the Venus radar map applied as material. The atmosphere around the ringed planet is not very fortunate - but I have to say that I've struggled with the atmospheric effect several times and have not yet been successful in coming up with something better.

The ring, though beautiful, seems a bit massive to me. They are usually made up from debris and at the angle we look at it I would expect to see a bit of stars (there are none in the sky) or something else through it.

And the ring extends into the water at far left so it isn't that far away ...

Thanks Horo, yes no stars in the sky, i could never get them the way i wanted them to look so i left them out, as for the ring hitting the water i did not notice it till after i posted, (ouch), Since i did this at work i had one hour from start to finsh so it was really a rushed render to complete it, i might rework it later at home when i can spend more time with it.
