Islands with surf 1
Description: Instead of linking the terrain material with the DTE generated hieghtmap of the terrain, I've used the same theory to generate a surf pattern that clings roughly to the coast. The idea being to give the impression of reefs and a bit of wave action on the shore.

All criticism and opinion gratefully received.

Bryce 7.1 pro. Render time about 20 minutes.

Brilliant!
I once tried to make the surf pattern from terrain and material of foam. The result is not very persuasive.
