Route
Description: Bryce 7.1 Pro.
Render Normal AA. Time is 35 min.
The idea of David Brinnen use heights map from DTE for in Terrain Editor and texture of road created in DTE.
Cloning function (Ctrl-9) for trees is used.
The file of a scene without trees has the size of 12,4 Mb and 4851361 polygons. With trees - 13,1 Mb and 6174556 polygons. Used 4 types of trees. As you can see, the file size has increased by a very small amount, despite the large number of polygons.
Used the Rashad's idea of applying material SSS to foliage.
Cars are not mine.
Horo me has outstripped. :))

Thanks for your comments.

Great, really great. You were clever enough to place the cars so on the road so that we can't see the drivers :) Very well done!

Beautiful scene. The green of the trees is rather shocking to my jaded English eyes, but it is beautiful nevertheless. The sense of scale is impressive, indeed if I were looking hard for a criticism it would be only that I would have used filtering to sharpen up the edges of the road more. Although the long verge may have been the effect you were looking for?

As I said, excellent. 5/5 Well done!

Thanks for comments and estimations.

"Although the long verge may have been the effect you were looking for?"
No, David. So I just hurried to make your lesson.
