Spiky Sphere
Description:	The main object was made in Wings3D. Around it is a partly transparent and partly reflecting sphere. Lit by the Platform HDRI that comes with Bryce 7.1. It is in the centre of the spiky sphere. It gives light and creates the shadows. My sig is inside the sphere, what you see is the shadow of it. The HDRI was specular convolved and it is also rendered as backdrop - some light seeps into the outer sphere.

Either a glowing blue gem or a highly sparkling gem. I can't decide which. In the thumbnail the spikes look like sparkles. On closer examination they are clearly part of the gem, but the impression remains.

The "crown" which captures the light at the top is particularly nice forming an almost angelic halo.

Thank you! I have an anaglyph of this one in the galleries on my website.

What disturbs me and I couldn't get rid of are the very dark angular parts.
