Description: And example waterfall... more can be found here. http://www.daz3d.com/i.x/search/searchsub/?_m=d&sstring=brinnen&x=0&y=0

About 12 minutes to render - depending what else I'm doing - not playing Minecraft... OK, yes, might have been - a bit.

The fall is really marvellous and the rainbow a nice detail. Just on the foot, it looks like ice which doesn't fit to this rather warm looking place. Great lighting.

Thanks Horo... ah, the curse of the ice! Yes, I should have shrouded that in some volume cloud. Waterfalls are tricky and no mistake.

I don't think I could pull off a waterfall even close to this nice. Besides the 'ice' problem, the water bump is quite 'noisy'. Just MHO. ;-)

Yes it is, I agree, I have no excuse just an observation that this is the price of keeping the render time down. More sampling is needed to make the noise become a milky blur - and of course at different resolutions the goalposts move... I think this shows that in spite of what may seem obvious, "clouds" are better for moving water than anything resembling a water material.

Waterfall turned out fine. Textures of rocks is also good.

Very nice work here. The waterfall looks good indeed. Very nice waterfall package you've made up for sale at Daz3d. Bravo!
