Quit night
Description: A Halloween render.
Vampire making her round around the block.

Models from DAZ, lighted with bryce 7 lights and TA.

This was a challenge for me to make a more dramatic light image, with is both cool and warm.

C&C are welcome as ever. Thanks!

I would have liked to have seen a bit more of her eyes, without the face looks more mask like and turns the figure into almost a statue - which may have been the desired impresson?

Lighting and composition are all spot on. The camera FOV has distorted the moon, sending it "off round". I think I would have corrected this by rendering the moon square on in another render, with a larger FOV to make the stars a bit twinklier and recombineing the two renders using an object mask. But that is only a minor consideration. Certainly, a top notch scene, 5/5

Very nice boekenwuurm! I like the warm light of the night and the cold vampire. You did a great job here and certainly deserve a 5/5. To make the moon round with a wide FOV, you can also try to squash it. That's what I usually do.

I checked the scene, and to my shame the moon isn't full as I thought, but a bit off. Next time I should watch it more.

The eyes... maybe white with blood red would be visually better, but I wanted to stay away from the sparkly vampire thing here, and he twilight vampires have red eyes when unfed.
The traditional vampires from my yought had either red or black eyes, but I wend for black. This time...

Er... you get vampires in your yogurt? I think I must be misreading this... It must be something else. Damn my dyslecsia, I don't see it. I will feel a fool when you tell me.

"Sparkly vampires" - yes, they are very much in vogue these days. Black is a good choice, but it would be more frightening if it could be seen they were black, as it is they are lost in shadows.

Dyslexia? Makes 2 of us. So far for the fire fox spelling correction. But I mend when I was a kid, which is childhood in english, I discovered by googeling, and not youth, which was what I was trying to spell.

And about the "Sparkly vampires", don't understand me wrong, I like twilight as much as almost every female, but for this Halloween I wanted to go old-school.

I guess I am too old and too male to appreciate Twilight - I'm more Ultraviolet - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0169501/ - and besides I could listen to Susannah Harker all day long.
