I want a house there. This looks really good. Trees look spectacular.

Complexity is amazing but somehow the whole atmosphere feels "muddy". This lacks the calirity of your other images (particularly Zen). Ground material once again shouts out at me. The water looks like satin at this distance. I don't know if that is good and bad. But the overall impression is not as satisfactory as I would have hoped it would be. Room for improvement here? Well, I'd say so, but knowning how horrendustly complex your scenes are and how unresponsive Bryce becomes when dealing with them, I'm reluctant to be overly critical. If it were anyone else I'd probably say wonderful and leave it at that, but since you are a perfectionist and have requested feedback, then you have my view.

Thanks guys! I once showed earlier renditions of this project to David, he offered feedback and I put it into use, but maybe it needs to go further?

I have lowered the haze by fully half of what I used before. Part of the problem is that Bryce haze does not really know what to do with large scale scenes. The haze setting is the same in all three renders posted here the other day. So you can see that at most distances this haze looks correct, but from a wide angle view it gets much harder to make it work.

AA is a big problem here. But I will discuss that in more detail later.

I like this one best because it gived me the freedom to imagine how it were if I travelled in this small world. Shorelines are a bit uncommon. Vegetation is great and the water also looks good with the transparency. The AAing makes it appear like glittering, reflection from the bright sun on the waves. It looks a bit odd in the distance, though. Haze is better here than on the first one I've seen. I wonder if you used Blend Haze with Sun. With a yellowish sun, this often gives you brown haze, which somehow cannot be fully compensated with blue.

Thanks, Horo! Yes, the water was just fine until I added the foam. Got to think a bit more on that.

Clever diagnosis for the haze, that is exactly what I used, 65% I believe. I found that I needed to temper the blue, as it was taking on one of those underwater sort of appearances. It really is a challenge establishing a strict scale reference at such a large scale. To some extent this is new territory.
