This scene is marvelous and looks very real. I've looked long and several times to this artwork and I can't come to grips with the size. The reosion on the right foreground makes me think this must be a high ridge and we're looking from above. On the other hand, the river looks not very wide. I could jump over it at a narrow part.

Fantastic mountain scene! I have already use your two stages method in one of my pict and i must admit that it's a good technic to obtain a nice multistrat landscape effect. I like this place that make me remind a lovely place i've visited in my last alpine holidays.

The little torrent is a bit to calm, but the whole is very harmonious.

Masterful work here. Haze is perfect. I agree with Horo, upon careful study the issues he raised become apparent. But I think that at first glance, this one is a true winner.

For my tastes, the lack of tangible foliage is the only problem. procedural green is good but it does not sell the impression of trees, only grasses. Not that you were going for trees, but I just wanted to mention that the procedural green only seems effective for low grasses and not much more.

I agree with c-ram, this image is very inspiring and makes me want to try something similar. Very good work modeling the terrains!!!!!!!
