I would try a wider field of view, 120 degrees minimum. And add some atmosphere. 90something, 4 and 0 for the haze setting. To make it different from air, make it orange or something like that. That will provide a better sense of scale.

Also, I've noticed something seems to have happened to the keywords in this site?

And and, I hope you don't mind my pointing out, http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=145803 Blaine has added 3 more video tutorials to the list, and, once he has finished editing it, about 25 minutes on using terrains (which you may find instructive for this subject) is in the pipeline.

Awesome

I'll try those ideas out tonight.

Keywords... The new 1.7.8 uses Multi-word keywords, "The Black Pearl" for example, but it doesn't seem to be able to FIND multi-word keywords when you do a search... looks like a bug.. I did fix the single line keywords though.

Comas, I think that was alwas needed. By the way, I've never got an email, Show my email address is enabled.

The gas planet looks weird but I like it. After all, space is a weird place and we haven't been there yet. Three suns up, that gives quite a bit of heat, I reckon. The atmosphere may well have evaporated long ago. And that's the problem: we have no depth clue without haze and it is difficult to judge the size of these mountains.

A camera FOV of 120 deg at Scale 100 as David suggests would give you an angle of view of 96 deg, quite a wide angle lens. I think that's a good idea.
