Winding Creek Estates
Description: What to say? I used regular aa, shadows set at 75%. This is kind of a collection of old memories set together.

Well composed scene. A lot more complex than I am inclined to tackle, so you will not hear any complains form me about lack of detail! One thing I will say is that the house on the right looks a bit small compaired with the bird on the branch on the left. This may be an optical illusion and it should be easy enough to check using the orthognal views in the wireframe.

I'd say that there was room for improvement in terms of the choice of the foreground ground material, which is a little too generic for my taste. The atmosphere haze/colouration too strong over such a short distance to neighbouring properties and the water. Water I am no expert on, but I find Horo's http://www.bryce5.com/details.php?image_id=3039 calm grey water in the x-change to be very good.

Overall a good piece with unrealised potential if it were given more attention. 4/5

Size is always difficult to get right - at least that's what I think. I usually struggle with it. Again, there are so many details. You're really a patient man, Gary. I agree with David that the haze is a bit on the generous side. The sky looks very good. Only the material for the ground is out of the library. I know, because it was my standard in the beginning.

Now that I look at it on the site, I can see my perspective is way off. The Blue Jay is supposed to be really close. regarding the house that is being built and the relationship with the other 3 houses, the other 3 would be really huge.
Sorry about that.
You are correct Horo, the ground is out of the library and I am really getting to dislike it. I'll have to work on ground textures.
