Side Lobes
Description: Another Bryce 7 beta render, using the Rainbow HDRI as "Singularity" inside a sphere with holes. This sphere is with the camera inside an elongated sphere with partial reflection. We get the shadows, the light and some reflections on the inside of the elongated sphere. Once rendered conventionally and once with Blurry Reflections and Blurry Transmissions with 64 rays per pixel, which took 24 times longer than the conventional one. The conventional render shows with 10% through the one rendered premium.

So many interesting new toys to play with! Looks almost like a logo on the right, or laurel leaves. Was all this done in Bryce or did you combine the images in post? Fancinating effects, but being abstract, I don't know quite what to make of it all.

Nice choice of colors here Horo. The piece feels random but not chaotic, a very cool midground it seems to have found.

Thanks guys. The Inside option for the HDRI is a nice toy for the far out sort of things. As it is currently implemented, it has no other uses that I can see.

As for other uses... probably too early to say. With software as complex as Bryce there are many things left to discover - that's part of the fun.
