Description: I lost count of how many little radial lights are in this scene. I've been experimating with lighting trying to get it to look a little better. If I were to grad myself on the lighting, it would be a D or F. As far as lighting goes, I think this scene is the worst one that I have rendered.

I would have to disagree with you Rebel. This is one of your better lighting attempts to my eye. I see much better storytelling going on with the lighting. It looks specific, not general, and we all know that with art specificity is always the best thing. Great details, very interesting material choices. Looks great.

Once the new lighting features of Bryce 7 are in place, you will have a much easier time of this type of interior. For nowIi can only say good work on this and keep on with the micro-management of lights, this knowledge and experience will pay off in more ways than one.

I agree with Rashad, I think you have been too hard on yourself. Interior lighting is not something I have much experiance of, but from what I see this is an impressively complex scene with some good and shall we say, less good, aspects. The inconsistency in the degree of shadow is what draws my immediate attention, deep shadows and areas where I would expect shadows and none appear. Don't be discouraged though, the micro-management of lights (as Rashad says) will pay dividends.

No Gary, this is a beautifully made room, full of details and generally convincingly lit. The windows - nice view and fitting, but I miss the reflections from the interior on the glass. You might have to put a transparent and slightly reflecting 2D face and the pictures of the background a bit farther away from it.

Thank you Gentlemen for your comments. As for Bryce7, that's not in my budget, "Free" is in my budget. That's how I got started with Bryce5.5, I found a free version.
