Valentine Chocolate Cake
Description: Thought it was about time I post something that shows that I am a giver and not a lecher.. . I have learned texturing by taking your mat apart and seeing how you put them together.

Yes, David Brinnen will be proud if her ever gets back over here to comment on the submissions.

The material for the frosting looks good enough to eat surely. Something about the strawberries is not working for me, I think you needed a better mesh model for that. Still, lighting is nice and even, very nice image in every way!

Nicely done. I have the impression the picture was rendered smaller and was resized in a graphics app.

I missed my breakfast for some reason and now that I'm hungry, I can really appreciate this type of render. Really nice, HawkThunder. A couple of things that come to my mind right now - render at moderate-larger resolution, it is worth the wait, every piece of art deserves to be seen clean and clear in order to be shown "in full light". I agree with Horo, the current image does appear to be resized from its smaller original form which is not advisable at all. Think of the many hours you spent working on your scene. Saving your artwork in low jpg compression also takes away the otherwise worthy sharpness and quality. And, of course, welcome at Bryce5.com. I hope you enjoy your stay and may our fellow members here help you with improving your skills in the 3d area.
