Looking for a Planet
Description: The Low Orbit Research Station 1 (beta) was completely in Bryce modelled by Alan Armstrong. The camera is inside the cockpit. A huge mirror shows the same LORS as a second one. Opposite the mirror is a 2D Face with a picture of the Orion nebula. I assembled the the picture to an HDRI and tone-mapped it for Thomas Luethi, who took the series of photographs in the observatory of our local astronomical society. The hologram of Viki3 (from DAZ3D) is a picture from a separate render.

Love the mirror trick. Starfield looks even better than last time. Did you add Viki in using Photoshop? it looks really good however the consoles near the window look very flat (which I am presuming they are); should try to add some cubes/ cylinders over the buttons to make the look real. Probably harder than it sounds.

Very smart of You to use mirrors! Again this is very nice picture, but I think the nebula could be a bit bigger, just a suggestion.

Wow. Transparency, reflections. Love the feeling of enclosure wrapped in total emptiness.

Nice work, Horo. I love the nebula in the far back. If it is a "low orbit" Research Station, then there has to be a planet nearby we don't currently see. The dark-blue space is a curious choice. I always resorted to the black for that, though I admit it suits the space fine.. this dark blue color. Inside the cockpit the textures are either stretching based on the interior "walls" shape or the camera lens deforms the viewport towards the edges. If it's the 1st one, it's not your fault. If it is a camera issue, then you could've enlarged the spaceship object so the cam inside the small enclosed space doesn't have a distorted fov. Minor issue though.
