The Reading Room
Description: This is the first time I experimented using "Gamma Correction". And, yup, it took a few days to create, lol. I had a heck of a time trying to name this piece, then I noticed all the books around and called it "The Reading Room".
I used "Regular" AA

I want a reading room with zebras and other cool animals outside the window, but I would start with just a reading room.. Picture looks really amazing. Don't really know what else to say. Very complicated, lots going on, tons a detail, love the bird in the cage and the circular wooden piece with the elephants on it. Really nicely done.

I agree with connor. This is a very nice reading room! Should the cat not have a shadow though? Currently he looks like he is floating. Other than that this piece is astounding!

Thanks for the comment. If you notice my other "Interior" walls, you will notice I like to complicate the scene, make lots of things to look at.

I agree Anurin, the carpet mat was hard to get any shadows.

Another of those charming "Rebels". There's a lot to look at and to discover. The outdoor scene doesn't convince me - I assume I'm looking out the windows. The room itself is beautifully made. However, there are absolutely no shadows. NEVER use Gamma Correction. It makes a flat and low contrast picture of your render. As the Gamma correction is implemented, it is pure crap. If you must use gamma correction, do it in post production. There you have the means to control it. Bryce just does something. And the philodendron - I think the colour of the leaves is wrong. Only the dark green. A bit of transparency and a bit of specularity perhaps.

You are right Horo, I'm never using Gamma Correction again. Too hard to work with. I have enough of a problem with shadows anyway, don't need more.

Looks good. Very bright and ideal for reading. Not sure what happens to your shadows sometimes, still, very nice.
