Memories Forgotten
Description: It's been a few years since I last uploaded anything, so here it is.

It took me forever to render this since my desktop crashed twice and then dying completely, so I got a new laptop and rendered from here, but then it crashed while rendering, so after a month of trying to get this rendered it's finally done. If it hadn't crashed It would normally taken about 3 days to render.

I'm done with school now so, I may be posting more stuff once in a while, like once in a few months or maybe more.

So this image is supposed to be underwater where the rings and a bracelet was thrown into the water and forgotten. Metephorically for something like something tragic happened and you see valuble thingsd thrown away.

I did use a volumetric light which was part of the reason for the long render, I just wish there was a better way of showing the light rays without increasing the render time tenfold. Everything was created in Bryce.

Hi, Rydar. Looking at this render, I do feel underwater, which I think it's the most important thing regarding the effect of the surrounding environment. Using volumetric light in Bryce is the most accurate way of achieving true 3d light rays, calculated and rendered. You did see they do add a lot of rendertime, unfortunately they also leave few artifacts behind such as these jagged "layers" of shadows in the low part of your render. Generally that can be smoothed out in postwork or (if I'm not mistaken) by using soft shadows, although that will take forever to render. So you either have to render your project on a stable high-end desktop system (no laptops or such, sorry) or just render the image without volume light and add this in postwork, as I did with my lightrays [Here] . For it I used photoshop and with transparent yellowish brush on a separate layer I painted the rays in the coresponding direction. Then just erased them here and there and made the layer party transparent. That's it. I'm writing you this just in case you decide to further examine the matter of lightrays. And, there's always FrozenCry's Steaming rays for their ease of use.
