Hi, So I was wondering how did you create the green smoke effect and the glowing yellow? The wall is awesome, looks like it has a forest in it.

Very interesting piece. Love the colors, the green gas is amazing, looks very 3d in a way. However do these ideas come to you. Very nice.

Thanks again, gentlemen!
Connor, the green smoke is actually "me" :), or at least the finishing phase w/ face. Generally, the smoke effect can be made in various ways, here this is made with a "smoke brush" - a monochrome image of smoke and/or clouds that's been brush-converted so I can use the smoke pattern more easily.
Rashad, the couple of brush strokes I used for the "Keeper" have the "drop shadow" for the layer's blending option. This is how the slight 3d fx can be explained.
The glowing yellow is a bit different matter. The "wings" of the fairy are an apophysis render which is a png file with transparency channel. This gives very nice results with applying layer glow blending options. So this was the 1st part. The 2nd is that after the glow I additionally increased the strenght of the glow by the edges with the Dodge tool, plus the surroundings to make the apparance of light hitting the object next to the wing.
As for the idea itself, Rashad, well.. a strong inspiration always helps. The project evolved piece by piece. Many of my renders or photomanips, that I didn't plan "pre-working" the details, are almost self-evolved stroke after stroke. It is just like you, the peers here, that I see it finished at the end and name it appropriately. Thanks again!

This one has a typical richter touch to it. It's the metaphysical/paranormal theme that makes me think so. I'm a dummy in image manipulation and I cannot comment on the technical part. The artwork as such has a great impact on me. It is amazingly well done, the "smoke" emanating from the picture, and the glowing dreams flowing around are so convincing - if this word can be used in this parapsychological context.

The pose and particularly the expression of the lady is absolutely believing. She's in the dream, intensily she is immersed in that dream.

The wallpaper in itself is a picture puzzle (Vexierbild) and the colour not only contrasts with the smoke. The colours used match what we know about magic (Nettesheim, Crowley, et. al.)

I usually only give a fiver for pure Bryce renders. But here, I have to make an exception.

Thanks, Horo! I'm really glad the image and its concept had such nice effect. I'm working hard to make my photomanip images better,so I do appreciate every remark and/or criticism points of view.

Eugene (yes, I do remember your name from last Christmas e-mail, but then I had no woks that I thought were worth using, and I noticed the letter after New Year itself:) I think that this work is very interesting! Strangely almost in all your works it is possible to notice your unique stile, it is almost like with pictures of great painters;) This work is as good as usual, and very many-sided (многогранная) - sorry, don't know how to say it more accurate in English.

I'm so late with my answer to you, that I feel almost like I should apologize, Саша. Sorry, I'm late, really! Your English is good and my Russian - not that good anymore :) though I do understand what you mean.

Thanks very much, friend. One of the nicest compliments to an artist is that in fact he can be recognized only judging the work itself. I do appreciate your input and opinion!
