Cheering
Description: An attempt at modelling; richter said so many times I should give it a try. Well, here I did at last. The "I" was made from booleans in Bryce and the texts on it in Wings3D. More text on 2D faces were made in Photoshop. The streaming rays, a free resource here, are from Frozencry. Lit exclusively by a self made specular convolved HDRI, using quality 256.

Nice model. Picture fits together well. The people are a very good touch. Really like the idea. Really good selection of words in the background. (I am updating my vocabulary).

It makes me smile wide and full of joy, Horo. I like the idea behind this piece, and also how you put it together. Correct me if I'm wrong though - the text is obviously a bit angular on the curved sides - wouldn't it have been easier to create the text in EleFont and import the dxf file in Bryce? I remember I downloaded this software from your website some years ago and I use it everytime I need a specific letter in 3D. I even neglect to use Maya's tools to create text, instead EleFont comes always in my mind. Just a thought.

I'd really like to sound encouraging :) Don't stop here, Horo. You also have the Ivy Generator and Apophysis. God knows what a sweet combination that is for your upcoming projects. Cheers!

Thank you all for your kind comments. Though it took quite some time to finish, it was great fun to do it. I'm very pleased how the red from the letters "bleeds" on the yellow near the top. A faint touch of true ambience. Ah - and I thought Wings would be better than Elefont. I'll try that one next time. Thank you for that tip, richter.
