Grandma's Retreat
Description: This one took forever, Bryce5.5 would crash, I would crash, I took a lot of time with textures and colors.
Grandma's Retreat is up in the attic so she can get some reading done or just look at the view from high up.

Good. Not too crazy about the black colored walls. Interaction is the key to realism, the wall should interact in some way, If not by means of diffusion, then by means of reflection or specualr or something. Solid black is rarely convincing.

Walls

The walls are supposed to be a dark green. That's how the were before I rendered the scene.

I believe they are still dark green. If you look at the two lights near the wall, The area around them is dark green. Perhaps the green is too dark. hough personally I like it as it is. My problem is with the carpet. Due to the shadows coming off of it it appears to be floating. That and it appears to be too smooth. Perhaps a bump map? Great job on the image overall.

Not much to add. It looks really nice. Looking through the windows makes me wonder how low the house is built. I'm not sure, perhaps it's only me, but I think the landscape should appear lower.

MMmmm, nobody has said anything about a couple of objects far out in the water, lol.

I do not know how much rendering I will be able to do in the near future. My computer crashed and I had to set it back to "Factory Defaults" (and may have to do it again), plus I will be working many hours for Ed Thompson who is running for State Senator. I do hope to sneak a few renders in though.
