The Sun

The Sun
Description:	The main part of this picture is the sun. Its a custom texture. I made it in photoshop a long time ago and uploaded it in this picture: http://www.bryce5.com/details.php?image_id=3020&mode=search I am trying to get it brighter. For this picture I made it a volume texture and played with the settings. There is a sphere around it with a yellow glow and a light inside of it. The ships and planets were added just for effect. I had to use photoshop to take out some of the stars shining through the sun. Hope you like it. Its not so much realistic, but it looks kinda cool.

The sun looks really good and the light it casts on the planet and ship looks great.

Looks almost like a star gone supernova that is about to destroy a planet. Or maybe we are loking at one of those extremely low mass stars like Nemisis. Very cool, those ships are sleek and very awesome looking.
