Source of Life
Description: Following up an idea of David from July 2006 to group transparent ground planes to create odd distortions, I found that this works with Bryce 5.5 but most of the time not in 6.1. And if it works, Bryce crashes most of the time. But with a lot of patience ... So this consists of 4 fully tranparent ground planes, a torus and a sphere, haze, color perspective, the stars and the sun. There is a variant of richter's cross-hatched material in use. Rendered as 360 degrees panorama. The drop on top is the torus, the heart just shadows even though it looks 3D.

Thats very beautiful. I just figured out how to do something like that a few days ago. Wasn't really expecting it at first.
It is very well done.

I think it sucks! Okay, it just looks terrible!

Sorry, that was silly of me because I hardly even know where to begin in praises for this project. Delicate, balanced, colorful yet subdued, organic yet celestial. At once I feel like I'm within a living thing and yet one with the universe! Thisis quite sick, Horo! I'm really impressed and proud of this Bryce work. The naming is extremely appropriate. In a technical sense this scene exceeds my understanding but I will say it is most striking and powerful. This might be my new favorite abstract from you. WOw! 15/15!

Thank you for your kind comments. Abstracts are always a bit of hit-and-miss with many surprises. I'm also quite pleased with the outcome. The thumbnail looks as if it were a beetle of some kind.

Really nice work, Horo! The addition of blue-haloed stars compliments the overall impression fairly nice!
