Description: This is to advertise the publication of the new Minitutorial 21, which shows how the 4000 pixel limit can be overcome.

This render consists of one terrain, a blue sky, redish haze, the Bryce sun and towards the vanishing point a blue radial to brighten up the black shadows with blue of the same colour as the sky. The terrain has Richter's Toon Glass Type 1 material applied to. Rendered with soft shadows and DOF with only 9 rays per pixel to make use of the usually annoying noise as an effect.

Love it. The only issue I observe is the smoothing of the lettering. I assume this is caused by using terrains for the lettering?

Thanks Rashad. Yes, that's the terrain problem. It gets obvious close up.

What exactly is the 4000 pixel limit?

Bryce refuses to render images larger than 4000 pixels. If you're doing professional artwork, this might not be enough. Imagine an artwork for a hall.

Thanks, Horo, for sharing with us this technique! I'm not a proffesional designer, but could use it some time!
