Just a little 3D project to break the monotony of my abstract only trend.
I'm going to add some pipes and electical conduits later to dress it up. The overall effect is an endless, dimly lighted undergound tunnel that sort of gives me a spooky feeling, like at any moment some hideous malevolent creature is going to come charging through the tunnel to tear me limb from limb and gobble up the pieces. YUM! LOL
Very nice to see another type of your artwork. You've done space scenes and landscapes. This is not to say that I'm fed up with your abstracts, quiteto the contrary; you've developed the "spektyr-style". But you're an artist of many talents and I love to see that you do not completely ignore that aspect of art. There are mirrors involved, ain't there?

I have to branch off from the abstracts because, quite frankly, I'm running out if tricks. ;-)
Yes I'm using mirrors here. There's one section of tunnel that is refected using a Ray Depth of 100. I have the camera FOV set at 120 to 'lengthen' the tunnel. Right now I'm Putting the finishing touches on a couple of large pipe, replete with bolted flanges, bracketing a metal grill walkwayI also had to add a second light to correct an anomaly created by the mirrors. I'll post it when I'm finished as Dark Tunnel: Stage 2. ;-)
