Nice job experiementing with terrains as water surfaces. The horizon is always the problem. Popgriffon has found very good solutions to the horizon problem, search him out and y0u will be amazed. The water loosk good for this depth, I would like some transparency but it could be tricky in this situation. The splashes seem just fine, in no way distracting. However did hou do them? Nice work!

Waves and horizon are a question of the looking angle. Here, the camera is quite near the surface and those waves are mountains from this vantage. We won't see far. Therefore I think the water and the waves are just great. Doing the bow spray is certainly very difficult. Good job here, skiper.

Talk about rolling with the waves. I LOVE the water! The sky is excellent and the ship models are exquisite. I can imagine bow spray is really tough. You did a really nice job on this! Did you render this with Bryce? If so how did you do that bow spray?

I'll give you a 5/5 for effort and that cool attenpt at the bow spray. ;-)

This scene is meant to represent a storm approaching, that's the reason for the high waves. The bow spray can be found at http://www.cgcreators.com/yuji/download.html

The waves are from "Waves By Mary", which can be downloaded from "www.sharecg.com".

Glad you all enjoyed it, it was fun creating it.

Very good, love the waves and spray - wouldn't really want to be out there in those old ships though, very uncomfortable.
