The Lotus
Description: Yesterday, I was just going to pop out an abstract, well, many hours later here it is. I'm not pleased with my water drops as some are configured to be far away and some a bit closer. I think it's the sizes, dunno. Actually, I'm not happy with the drops themselves, I re-did them so many times and still could not get the desired effect. I changed materials, transparency, etc. Oh well, it's just an abstract, arrgh.

How did you make your waterdrops? I am guessing metaballs, but terrains can also do the trick. Please explain.

Interesting picture! I will play insane man in the university's play, and I think his dreams could be like this: with lot of strange yet archetypic simbols, that could be interprited be each persone personally (sorry for tautology:)).

This is a very humorous picture. I like the raft most. The form of the drops is impeccable and I'm curious as well how you make them. I dunno what effect you're after for the material, I like them the way they are.

Experiment with the optics settings in the materials lab and remember that refraction is the refraction index x 100. E.g. 133 = 1.33.

In the render options, experiment with TIR (total internal reflection) and maximum ray depth.
