Reef
Description: The Killer Whale, Lion Fish, Manta Ray, bothMarlins and the 4 Tuna Fishes are from DAZ3D. I used David's Nebula, Nebula 2 and Nebula Advanced material available as a free resource here and put each one on large spheres (20k, 15k and 10k BU). This shows, that David's nebulae can be used for more than space scenes. Lit by the Furka HDRI, available on my website. This was a test using the nebulae. Renders with 128 lights in half an hour.

I really like how you used the nebula texture for an underwater scene. Good thinking. Looks great too. The blue and yellow fish on the right have the same body positions but apart from that I really like it.

Very colorful and beautiful. An eye catcher! The nebula looks alot like sand recently disturbed by some sea animal. For critique I think I would have liked to see the fish interact with the nebula more, right now they almost seem to be painted in front of the nebula instead of obscured somewhat within it. Probably a greater density setting would have solved this.

The colors are really working well here, the pallette is excellent! A vry clever implementation of a nebula, Horo! Cleverness really pays off for you in so many situations!

That's wonderful, makes me feel as though I'd like to be in there swimming among the reef.

Either that is one tiny Orca, or you might wanna consider a little bit of haze.
