Pleasantville
Description: I saw a movie on tv called "Pleasantville", and this kinda reminded me of it. I always seem to get my walls a bit busy, but that's the fun of it. I mean, hey, it's not boring, lol. Comments and tips are always welcome.

I absolutely love the seagulls. A very detailed piece of work. The foreground looks exceptionally good. The vegetation, background and sky also look very good to me. I have qualms about the house at left and the ruin, but I cannot point out what's eating me.

Horo! Those are "Doves", lol. The house on the left is called "Whapper's House, or something like that. It's so big, I thought it would make a good hotel. This scene would, most likely, come out of the 1800's somewhere in time. I don't know where the ruins came from either, lol. It appeared when I was finishing the scene, lol.

Exzcellent work creating the effect of a spectral sky! I think everything is awesome, I just find the scaling of the houses to be far too small. Haze is what tells us how much air there is between objects as a distance indication. Scaling is probably as essential as lighting, which I like here. I might suggest a weak radial or two in ifferent areas ti lighten the shadows. Good job avoiding ambient channel glow! The colors in that sky are really very good indeed.

Thanks Rashadcarter. I'll try to remember your tips, these are good ones. I never even thought about the distance haze, I guess I was too busy with everything else.
