It looks quite plausible, the protuberances visible at the edge a nice detail. What I miss is a bit of haze around that star, fading in the distance. On the other hand, we may look through a dark filter at it and the gaseous hull (and the stars in the distance) is just not bright enough to penetrate the filter.

You have very good sun here! Almost real. it could nicely fit any space scene. Great fuzzy material, wish I could create something like this. Good work!
