Asteroids
Description: This is all Bryce. The background is 'Nebula' that David Brinnen uploaded. The asteroids are the basic rocks then separated them. This was a pretty easy picture, took about 30 minutes to set up and 40 minutes to render with AA but not on the highest quality. I made the ship a while ago in Maya. Thinking about putting some lights on it either in Bryce/Maya or later in Photoshop. Comments welcome. Thanks.

Another nice space scene from You, Connor! I think lights would be good addition here, especially volume effect of glowing engines, lights.

Ah - you get better. Not the models, they are always beautiful, though this one lacks a material and - as you say - lights. But the background is a real eye catcher. The planet is great, too, but something went a bit amiss with the bumb, looks invertered to me. I don't know Maya, but I think it is possible to define transparent parts. If this is so, you can put the lights on in Bryce. The asteroids look good to me, too.

Wow Connor! I do not think even David himself could have used this nibula in a more effective way. Best part is that you already know what the scene needs, as in lights on the ship. otherwise Connor, this is as usual flawless! The bump should be removed from the planet surface. For mountains to be visible that way from space would require mountains high enough to reach outer space itself, a condition that no longer exists due to the age of theEarth and erosion by water and wind flattening the Erth more and more each day.

Thank you VERY much!. Point taken for the mountains. Now that you mention it they would be very large. I am fixing that now and figuring out where to put lights for the vessel. Thank you all again.
