A true "Richter", though one of the brighter variants. Those Apophysis renders produce outstanding backgrounds. The whole thing has the quality of a painting. My imagination wanders - I see blood and the eye of an alien monster, dragon- or octopus-like; and skulls on the cube. Excellent composition with the rigid (and frigid) cube and the warm round forms between chaos and order. A fiver - surprised?

I love it. The background is really unique. The reflection of the cube makes it even cooler, making it look like it is sitting on glass. The transparency on the cube is also very good.

Thanks!
The Bryce scene isn't something complex as a setup or geometry. An hdr image for the reflections only, default sun and premuim effects of the renderer. Again striving for best results with the least amount of light. So Horo, you're right, Apophysis is what brings the magic to this piece. Of course it would all feel incomplete if it was just the apophysis or bryce alone in composition. So the combination is the essence.

Alexandr, yes, I arranged and repainted apophysis renders in Photoshop onto a diagonal of 4096x res texture. There was also a photo of what they call "dragon-chameleon" built-in the texture in the process and 2 old watches. Final img rendered at 1417x2332 (300dpi), ready for print, here's a fragment.

If I did not know any better, based on the beauty and the colors I would forget that hell itself is contained within that box. The splattering of blood, and very good looking blood , is very realistic and contrasts nicely. Very artistic and very beautiful All Richter! 5/5
