Aurora Fleet
Description: This was all Maya, still working on the Bryce version. I made a new background in Photoshop but when I put it in it look completely flat and not that good. I added turrets to the ship, you can see them on the closest ship, 16 turrets on each ship. The blue are windows, the front one is the bridge and the back something else, observation room maybe. Hope you like it.

Does anyone know how to render an animation in Maya? When I hit the 'batch render' option nothing really happens. Thanks.

Amazing detail! I would hate to have these things coming at me. The background is surprisingly realistic and dimensional. Which is hard to do in bryce. I can't speak for maya as I don't have it. Only one question. The background object, is it a planet or nebula?

Wow Connor! These models are beginning to look quite professional. I think you could have set the planet aglow as you have in some shots past. I might need to get a hold of some of these models. What I am waiting for is the day you start uv mapping these badboys, then you can add even more detail.

Thank you! Rashad, and everyone else, you can have any of the ships you want. I would start the uv mapping but I am still learning. Thanks for all of positive feedback!

About the UV mapping, Connor, I sent you a mail yesterday, so hopefully this will be some start. Remember that ship of yours that needed some re-modeling, if you still keep the project why don't you look within the *.psd I used for texturing the "Connor's ship", it has all the layers and shows how things can be textured within Maya.

About the animation - I wish I could help here, sadly it's difficult to me grasp the matter yet... Good luck though!
