Under the Sea Surface
Description: Yet unfinished as I have noit decided what to make the focus, and I have yet to fill in the background. Thanks all for your time. Lit with IBL and radials as sunlight. Thanks to Alexandr for the link to Xenodream, the software that created the coral models. Feedback is most appreciated.

I think there is not much need for a background because the water is quite murky. You could get away without any background here. The large coral at right looks angular. You'll have to smooth it or move a bit into the distance. Have you thought of including some light rays? I think the bright parts on the surface suggest the use of sun rays or at least a caustics pattern on the floor. The picture looks already very much underwater. Good job here, Rashad.

I agree with Horo, this image is in need of caustics both above and below as this appears to be shallow water so the caustics should be very pronounced. Also a little haze in the foreground would look good, this is a representation of saltwater, if you have ever opened your eyes in the ocean, the water is not clear. Excellent composition, it is just in need of a few tweaks.

Nice to hear it is moving in the right direction. Thanks to each of you. Yes, some caustics are due and some light rays are too. I will introduce those aspects and see how it goes, and I will make the water more dense in hopes of filling in the foreground.

This is rather excellent. Never done an underwater scene myself, but might try it. All in the all the render is very good indeed, just needs some ,light rays coming through from the surface to give it more realism.

I can't add much, most has been said. The two things I can suggest are (1) to make the haze more thicker and greenish and (2) I believe you also had Photoshop (or PSP, either will do), in an empty layer just put a small dot of middle-gray-to-white color, cut this image really small and with no layer behind it save it as non-interlaced *.png file. This will make sure that you have transparency around the small dot. Now import it as a 2d plane and multi-replicate it in scene to get an impression of flowing plankton. This combined with the slight-greenish think haze will get you fairly nice looking ocean water. Well, it's at least how I see it :)

Anyway, so far so good indeed, Rashad!

Rashad, it is beautiful!!! There are good advices above, so I will not give You any about Bryce itself, istead of that, I would advice You about Xenodream. If You want to create exported meshes more complex, then You should put mesh grid sise as big as possible ( in free version it is 200), method - volume, check "fill volume" - it should be on, but don't on clean neighbors. Then put isosurface level ~ 200, and select mesh filtering - low, nad You could on "export smoothed mesh" It will create more complex corals, it is not critisism, just advice. Hope it will help You. By the way, did You receive my e-mail?
