Cartagena Spring
Description: This started out to be a simple waterfall
and I kept adding plants and trees and
moving back from the falls...to what I have now.

Excellent camera angle. I like this picture very much. The waterfalls look very good at this size. I'm less enthusiastic about the water - the waves seem not right to me. Also, the material on the rock could be probably improved upon. I like the placement of the plants. This is a very nice picture.

Wow some real nice water works here. The terrains look nice and the plants turned out well. The POV turned out great. The water in the for-ground is the only thing that stands out as being a little different but you must have intended it to be this way.

Great scene, but most of all what I like here is the water (both waterfalls and stream) You realy managed to express the feeling of living water in movement!

Agreed with previous comments. This is a most striking render and one I wish I could imagine. The exact bump pattern used for the water is the only problem with it, it looks like it is a random mapping, which will always look swirly regardless of the actual texture. Water surfaces are always hard to do I myself struggle daily with it. This could be one of my favorites from you!

About the water.. hey that might be intentional, Rashad, you know :) A fantasy place perhaps. I like this one a lot, especially the waterfall. Trish, have you heard of something called [Pro Render] ? It is a set of rules you must follow in order to achieve more interaction between the materials in scene, and overall brighten it a bit. Just a quick suggestion for you to test it out sometime.

Well I love it - and by the way, I've only just found out how to comment on this site - didn't realise you had to put something in Headline (and that's after joining here around last Oct/Nov). Anyway, good one Bullit - I still haven't been able to get a waterfall looking good so given up for the time being. !
