Quite good and funny! The postwork is not evident at all, as if the ladybirds are trully three-dimensional part of the image. The plant shadows are almost too thin to be noticed so it isn't necessary for them to be softer. I think Rashad's leaf transparency would go nicely on this plant though. Aside from that, the dof suits really well and the mountain range looks very convincing. Complete composition! Keep up.

Love on a mountain top..... so sweet. Wonderful use of DOF, and even though the flower does loook silly, it works well here.

Very interesting texture on the rock. It is hard for me to draw hard fast rules on shadows because of what I see in nature. Some appear sharp and crisp while other more faded all pending on the distance from the shadow and other factors with the sun and clouds. Great job on the plant with the ladybirds.

Alot of very nice things going on here. The dof you applied works really well. as dof can tend to make scenes look like miniatures, in this case the sense of scale is fully retained. excellent.

Richter brings up a great point about the flower. Right now it looks like you have maybe used a slight ambient glow to keep the shaded pedals and leaves from being black. But there is a much more physically accurate method in the material exchange here leaf transparency I created. You do not need ambient glow to "fix the shadows of leaves...ever really. Try it, and you will see why the ambient channel cannot compete with real physical transparency for foliage. The render time will increase, but not by much, but the realism will skyrocket. Just to give you an idea of a couple of scenes I have done that display this special effect. Observe that there is absolutely no ambient glow being used in these scenes, not on leaf has a glow, the foliage is transparent, and I even used the same transparency for the thin wings of the moth butterflies:

And here is a direct link to a couple of leaf transparency tricks:

Anyhow, best wishes and nice work here regardless of the lack of foliage transparency!!

A powerful artistic statement! A single life in complete desolation. The DOF adds much impact to the overall effect. Very well done! I have to give this a 5!
