Similar to the picture with the Argus in it but no Argus and this was rendered in Bryce, background included. Lighting is better, I think. Also added a small planet in the top corner. When I put the background on a 2D square in Bryce the sun was not very bright so I put a light and turned it up a bit so its acting like the sun. No other lights, except for the ones on the ship.
Connor, I think it is one of yours best images!!! Go on with improving your skills!

This is one of your best. Your great models put in a really cool background. Just the light appears a bit inconsistent. Considering the bright sun, I'd expected a bit of yellow light on the ships. Nevertheless, this is a very dramatic kind of picture. I hugely like it.

Thanks for all the comments. Horo, you are correct there should be a yellow glow on the ships. After finals week I am going to rerender it.

Smart move, Connor. That's the way one should render space scenes - with the background included. The best thing of all is that you avoided (don't know intentionally or not) the stretching of the background that can appear if the artist renders an img too large for the small size of the texture. Obviously this here is not such case. And the background does look dramatic. I can echo Horo's words about the yellow light, but you'll manage to rework this issue. Keep it up!
