Wonderful scene. Remember that works renderd in software other than Bryce must be posted to the Unrelated Programs folder.

Very nice work. I do think Bryce could do this without too much problem. I love the wood floor texturing. Excellent!

Collateral damage, it's inevitable perhaps. Original concept and well executed final render. I cannot be sure of it however, but there seems to be not enough antialiasing sampling (look the edges of the lights by the steps). The file size of the image is above 300Kb so perhaps is exactly an aliasing issue, minor of course.

I agree with Rashad that this kind of interior lighting condition can be re-made in Bryce. We already have the FakeGI tutorial with clusters of radials (see my Attic imgs), we have Pro Render and we have IBL that you can take advantage from if you allow an "open" room behind (without the walls that isn't in the camera's field of view). TA+IBL is a great combo. Don't give up on Bryce that easily :) I also use Maya, but come back to Bryce. The more the merrier, regarding software ;)

I agree with what's been said already. If it were a Bryce render using Pro Render, we would see some colour bleeding from the fully saturated red wall. That would make this picture even better.
