Nice start. The direct light seems perhaps too intense. I know you are using True Ambience under Pumeco's Pro Render rules. The thing to be careful of is the brightness of the color you chose for the diff/amb, and also the power of the lights used. Pro Redner seems to do well in my tests with dimmer lights, super bright lights just do not get the effect. Best wishes, keep it going!!!!!

Hey, glad to see a new face around!! Welcome!

Despite the grainyness it Is a believable scene. Of course like Rashad stated, the main direct light is more stronger, making your image to look overexposed. I've seen a lot of overexposed photos that look just like that. So I'm saying that you're on the right path of using Pro Render, you only need to be carefull with the intensity adjustments and you'll be just fine. Keep it up, looking forward to see more images from you.

Welcome SandySims, it is nice to have you here.

Though I also think this is a bit overexposed, it might still come out plausible. We need to see the final picture in order to say whether it's good this way or a bit exaggerated. The grainyness comes from rendering with a low rays per pixel setting but I like the effect on the walls. Complete smooth renders are not always what is needed. In fact, I think if you need some high frequency bump, using a lower rays per pixel setting is often more effective and cheaper on the render time, besides.

Thanks!

Thanks guys. The walls are concrete, so I think some grainyness is needed. I've added to the scene so I'll be adding that image up today. Because I don't have a lot of memory right now, I'm having to work in layers.
