Description: DAZ marketing hype made lots of people have big expectations of Carrara..
But the reality is less pretty.
Here's another example of forced collaboration of my programs.
In this image I used HMS Victory from DAZ, Brycean water, and sky from Vue.
All rendered with Carrara and pre/postworked with GIMP.
I had to use pre-rendered Vue sky because DAZ managed finally break Carrara's sky editor.
There were some bugs in Eovia times too, but DAZ introduced so many of them, that significantly reduced Carrara use range. IMHO, being pushed aside, and slightly forgotten, Bryce had still better luck than Carrara. Using naval words Carrara is sinking and DAZ keeps firing torpedoes at it. Bryce went ashore and is not going anywhere - just getting more rusty.

Fanfriggintastic. Love the team work approach, each software does its job splendidly. The white on the boat seems a little too perfect, very clean. But that is minor, beautiful scenario!

Very nice indeed. Great mastery of several 3D-aps. I echo Rashad about the white on the ship's body. The transparency on the sails is excellent.

Thx guys,
Lighting here is really made with Carrara GI skylight, but due to BUG I had to set the Carrara inbuilt sky in the editor to grey. So the GI skylight isn't blue here.
The sky that you see, is pre-rendered in Vue hi-res sky panorama set as background.
Well, even the BUG could be useful sometimes - thanks for the idea DAZ :P
Indirect light turned off, Camera supported by my old "flashlight"(TM) trick.
