Description: I have had this model for a little while but I forgot about it. Made in Maya. Textured and rendered in Bryce. Comments welcome.

Question: Horo, how did you make the broken moon in your 'broken moon' picture? it is awesome.

Archclan, when I just started modeling I said that to a lot of pictures. Just practice and then you can. Its kinda awesome when you realize that you can make a picture from scratch and have it look similar to what is in a movie or game.

Great models! You really have the hang of doing them.

Thanks for the kudos for Broke Moon. It's a positive sphere booleaned with a negative terrain. It is surrounded by another sphere with a fog material available here http://www.bryce5.com/details.php?image_id=814 lit by a spot from below. The nebula was made by 4 elongated cubes with different fire materials mapped randomly.

This one looks really fast, judging by the shape. Very good! Is it just me or there isn't any specularity on the ship...

Thanks!. This model was fun to make and I did have fast in mind when I was making it.
Richter you are right there is no specularity on the ship. I am changing the setting for the texture right now making it look a little bit better.

Very nice modeling job here. I have the Maya PLE but I haven't played with it yet. You did a nice job with it. I like the hull material too. It's very believable. Keep them coming.! ;-)
