Description:	Hey all, long time from my last image :) Sort of accidentally came up with this render. My old model of Eva Unit 1, HDRI, Focal 126. Blender was used for modeling and posing. I used photoshop to mess around with color balance until I bumped into something I liked. I also desaturated Eva a bit to make it more realistic pile of metal look.

Hi gat was very nice to see you enter you art work. This is a very nice scene but I need to know a little more about your model as this is the first time I seen it. What is Eva Unit 1? What does it do?

What parts of the picture did you use Photo Shop? I was thinking the color under the water could have been done with colored lights in Bryce.

Are the clouds done in Bryce they look very nice?

Eva 1 is from Neon Genesis Evangelin Anime, I made a model awhile ago from images.

I changed the eyes from that last version. This the first man "Adam" it is covered in an armor and is controlled by a person inside to defend off from Angels, which are creatures that attack Japan.

I didn't add any colors in photoshop I only brought them out more. The red spots are from the sun. Clouds are also bryce clouds.

also, that black stuff is fog.

Good set up here. I really like the camera angel, makes you feel like you are flying towards the structure. Very cool model.
P.S. I took your advice for the 'Empress of the World' picture and it looks much better. Thanks.

I missed the second version, it does look much better, but there is still has those sharp edges between shoulder and body, I would blurr those out a bit to make it smooth and soft

Quite clever. I like the anti-gravitational feel of it. The sky is fantastic, could not be better. The water is fantastic also, very nice work here Gat. I love the lighting. Your model is in a way ferocious, yet in a way friendly.

Beautiful... the water, the transition between the colors of the horizon, the sky and the red sun. The wave beneath the character is a good way of creating an impression that Eva is moving. I'm looking now at the red spot on the water and I wonder if you used 2 layers of bump - 1 for the distant waves and one harsher for to get a nice distortion of the bright rocks underwater. Smart effect! I can also see a desaturation brush stroke on the low back part of the character. It's like it glows with somekind of negative energy or an unknown type of radiation.

As a whole this is a very good work, excellent model, Gat, only the right part of the img stays a little empty at the moment but that's a minor thing to worry about. The colors very much remind me of a Pepsi commercial :) imagine that... the characters from the famous anime taking part in that sort of commercial.

thanks richter!!! I am glad that you like this. I actually used only one bump map for the water, it automatically just came out that way, I think it is because of the pattern. I did add some dodging to the character with a tablet to give it more variation in texture and color.
