I like it. Though symetrical abstracts are like mandalas, asymetrical ones stir the imagination. There are two tutorials on David's (www.davidbrinnen.com) and my (www.horo.ch) websites. On mine, go to Raytracing > Bryce > Page 1 and you'll find "Abstract Panoramics" and "Abstract Voids". Both are of the asymetrical type. Spektyr is the guy doing the symetrical ones and he has a link tothe source file of his Loopy (http://www.bryce5.com/details.php?image_id=3281). Happy abstracting.

Hi Archlan,
for a 1st abstract its not bad at all!
Love the glas- texture with the green stuf in it.

I usely start with a mirror-textured sphere and then put some objects in it.(and at least one light)
Use a lot of reflections, and hope for the best.
You can also change the fov of the camera.

You can find spectyr's loopy-setup here:
http://www.spektyr.com/BR6/Loopy.br6
Simple but brilliant.

Good luck!

This looks like a lot of hard work but it looks very nice for your first one probably better than my fist one. Keep up the great work. Did you know you could download Spektyr's abstract to see how he does some of his. http://www.bryce5.com/details.php?image_id=3281

It has color, form, and even appears to inhabit a real 3d space. Makes me think of futuristic traffic, or even like an atom. Nice.

As most of the cases the right combo of colors does the trick. And you seem to be on track. Keep up the working level and experiment with different mapping modes in the material editor.
