Toon Nightmare
Description: I wanted to experiment with the cel materials richter was so kind to share. Thanks a bundle man, it's really appreciated! I took http://www.bryce5.com/details.php?image_id=2461 as a base and changed all materials, added
two more strange forms, changed camera position and removed the HDRI in the background. Instead, the sky is set to pitch black and the scene is lit by just one radial near the camera. There was a lot of noise in the background part and I had to render it with 64 rays per pixel.

This is very nice you were able to get some reflection in this scene as compared to the other. Some very strange forms not sure what to make of them.

I'm glad it worked well for you, Horo. So it seems from your render. Here even the reflections of the whimsicalities appear cel-shaded, interesting mix of 2d and 3d.

@ archclan - I posted a presentation of some different type of experimental cel-shading materials, but except a few people I did not notice someone else to be interested. That's why I didn't rush all of them meterials in the mat-section. Aside from that the "cel-shading" in Bryce is a specular trick used to clearly define a shaded banding over a lit object. This makes the obj to look more of the 2d-nature. In the material editor find the field where it sais "specular halo" and Ctrl+Alt+Left Click there. From the color palette choose pure white. That'll do the trick.
