In Orbit
Description: This is similar to my re-entry picture but this time no one is re-entering. Just in orbit. One new ship to add to my fleet. My goal is to make a few more ships of this kinda similar design so I can have a fleet that looks like they should go together. The thing that they will share in common is the raised engine in the back middle and the texture. Other than that they are not that similar. Hard to tell but the new ship has a long and skinny window in the front.

Very nice. I think the light shining up from the planet surface may be the wrong tint of yellow, it should be nearly the same shade of orange as the planetary gas. I might condoser lowering the intesity of that light also as it seems brighter than the gas itself.

Yes, Rashad's right. Since the planet is actually the sky, you'll have to do some adjustments in the sky lab.

Connor models the ships himself, and these are looking really good! Seeing this image, Connor, I think that you're still experimenting with some positioning or texturing and lighting. Maybe when you get your fleet ready you will add more elements of "dynamics" in scene beginning from a detailed planetary environment and warp effects in space where other ships are approaching. I think you can do that. You're ready to do that. My suggestion - start making 2 or 3 different scenes and when you finish with each, start exporting, then importing and combining all the textured objects together into one vast environment (which has to be your primary scene). This type of workflow is undoubtedly time consuming, but in the end it will pay off great. I built my "Nerakh-Taar" battle setup composing all the elements just as I mentioned above. Trust me, it's worth it.

Archclan- I make all the ships in Maya as Richter as said. Richter Thank you for the advice on how to make. Don't think I have imported entire scenes into another before. Cool idea. I don't mind the time consuming part. Thanks again.
