This is most impressive. I love it it feels open and very cold. The only thing I might say is that the haze might be just a smidgeon too much, haze indicated moisture in the atmosphere and in these cold situations there is usually very little moisture in the atmosphere.

Great! It's hot enough as it is so looking at a winter scene helps to cool down a bit. This is indeed an excellent picture. The "wetness" of the ice in the foreground at right suggests that it is a bit above freezing at this moment and a bit of surface thawing is going on. This is further emphasized by the overcast sky that keeps warmth down. A clear sky would let it escape into space and it would be much colder. Therefore, the haze is not wrong, there is some humidity in the air. The fir tree is very nice it is only one. The grass or reed patches here and there look very plausible.
