Fleet
Description: One Bryce made ship, Titan. Three Maya made ships. One new one. The lighting seems to be off for some reason even though the only light is the sun.

This looks awesome Connor. The lighting as it has turned out is very fitting. The sun you say is the only light, I assume the sun is the red light in the background?. The sky dome color needs to be set to black or it will cast a light from 90 degrees straight up above. similar to your setup here. The sky dome light does not cast shadows.

Very nice ships this is quite a fleet I wonder where they are all going. Good job on the thrusters they show up in this scene.

Very good perspective for the rendition! Nice fleet. Right here I think is appropriate to make some minor adjustments in post such as adding a lensflare, but not just one, you can add two different flares. Balance those flares so their persentage intensity combined makes full 100%, not more. After that try to see if the "Auto Contrast" feature will change the overall look of the image.

Very nice piece of work here. Though the lighting looks good, it is wrong - well, probably not wrong. I have this impression because I think the mein light must come from that red sun. The ships are not lit by red light but by white light from above. I think Rashad is right here. Of course, a very bright white sun could be above, just out of sight, to be responsible for the white light. But then, we would have a severe gravitational problem. Rather then adding lens flare (sorry richter, I hate it, but I admit that it can be very effective at times), I suggest to ge rid of the white light from above. If you insist on the light from the sky dome, make it red. Though I'd rather make it black and add a not too bright red radial (or several) to get the ships better lit than would be the case with just the sun and a black sky dome. To complement the colours a bit, you could try to make the exhausts deep blue like we have from ion engines. Whatever you do, keep on doing something to this scene. It is worth it, it has potential.

Thank you everyone for the helpful ideas. Horo the engine glow is actually white but the red sun makes them red. If you take out the red they turn white again. I will try to get the lighting down, the sky dome and get the engine glow blue. Thanks again.
